Not knowing how to manage stress, anxiety, relationships, self-control, emotions or school work load can feel overwhelming when you don’t have the tools to make change. Understanding how the brain works, in connection with gaining tools to strengthen these deficits helps put down the blame and shame associate with not being able to figure it out alone and leads to empowerment.

I teach kids how their brains work. When you know how your brain works, you can use it to your advantage when it comes to dealing with stress and everyday obstacles. Coaching is focused on using mindful self-awareness to change habits and behaviors that do not serve, as well as stress management, resilience building and overall mental well-being.
My coaching is tailored to the client. This is not a cookie cutter plan. Grown ups, child and coach sit down to create customized goals within the child’s zone of proximal development and include home and school support if necessary. This is brain-based, habit-changing, self-awareness, self-care program that will create lasting change.
I help kids and families grow in mindful skills that can change an inner struggle. Weaving techniques that decrease stress and feelings of overwhelm into the day allow kids to feel the effects of mindful and self-aware practice immediately.
